Use Windows 7 Device Driver update option to try and find an updated monitor driver. Turbo Pascal Turbo Pascal 7.0 on this page. At the Start Menu type drivers into the search bar. From the Control Panel section choose Update Device drivers. In the Device Manager window that opens find the Monitor section & click the little triangle open to see your monitor. Right mouse click on your monitor and choose Update Driver Software and choose Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.
If Win7 can't locate an updated driver search the Gateway website and see what they have available. Nothing found?
Check the Gateway support forums to see what other FPD2185W owners are doing with Win7. Thanks for the feed back, been there and done that. It always finds a new driver, uploads it and installs, has to reboot and then it goes back into that loop again.
I have a duel display setup. I also have other problems with the 64 bit version of Windows as well. I think it has a lot to do with the box I'm using XW HP9300 Workstation with duel CPU's, 2 GB of ECC per CPU. A EN9800GT video card.
Driver Monitor Aoc 936swa there. And 3 -UW SCSI 79GB HD. Iomega 1 TB for backup. Windows backup will not work and I use EASEUS instead. When I'm running the Windows cleaner it finds all these errors but kacks out at the very end and gives me a 0X10600C06 error that has no real fix. Win 7 -64 is not a good working system for me.
