I am in need of a 3-Display configuration, with a specific laptop as the built-in display. It is a Fujitsu laptop with an Intel HD Graphics 4000 and an LVDS connector. I have two monitors connected to the laptop. The laptop is Display 1 (built-in display), Left monitor is Display 2 (DVI-to-HDMI connection), Right monitor is Display 3 (VGA-to-VGA connection). However, it seems I can only extend to only a 2nd monitor. The Intel Graphics Control Panel, under Multiple Displays, only allows two displays (primary & second) under the Extended Desktop Operating Mode, and yet I am able to see all three monitor names on their drop down menus.
The Screen Resolution Control Panel, shows a monitor icon for all three displays in the configuration I desire, but Display 3 is greyed out. What am I doing wrong? What steps to the process am I missing? What software/hardware do I need to complete this configuration? Please help ASAP.
Hi, Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. Sorry for the late reply. I understand that display 3 is not working while configuring 3 displays. I have done few researches on your issue. I appreciate the steps which you have done to configure.
You may refer the section “How to enable three independent displays?” from the link mentioned below check if you are not missing any step. If still it does not work then it would be better if you contact with the computer manufacturer. Please refer the section “What do I do if I cannot get three independent displays to work?” from the link mentioned above. Hope this information is helpful.
